Bamboo Field Acupuncture & Herb PLLC. requires 24 hours notice if for ANY reason the patient is unable to make their scheduled appointment.
In today’s hectic world, unplanned issues (or events) come up for all of us. If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so a minimum of 24 hours in advance so that others needing treatment can take advantage of an open time slot. If you do not cancel 24 hours in advance, you WILL be charged the normal rate for that session. My intention is not to collect missed appointment fees, but to provide timely treatments for all my patients. Your cooperation and consideration are greatly appreciated. To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please call 512-431-7997 or go to BambooFieldAcupuncture.com and use the online scheduler. If you cannot cancel the appointment online, please call/ text or email 24 hours or more prior to the appointment to cancel it.
Exceptions: Medical/dental emergencies, death in the family, car accidents, etc.
No exceptions: No shows, change of your work or school schedule, meetings, traffic, someone else’s lateness (ie. your service man was late, thus you could not make the appointment), etc. If you think your schedule for the day of the appointment is uncertain, please reschedule to a day you know you won’t miss the appointment.
If you are late to an appointment, we reserve the right to shorten your treatment to honor the following patient’s appointment.
In the Treatment Room:
In rare cases, you may be asked to change into a gown. Please keep your undergarments on unless you are asked to remove them.
Please refrain from wearing cologne, perfume or strongly scented lotion on the day of your appointment since you or some of our patients may be sensitive or allergic to them.
Please turn off your cell phone during the treatment.
Please try not to come to an appointment with an empty stomach or overly full stomach as it may affect the treatment. It may be especially difficult to continue treatment with a hungry child and if we have to cut the treatment short, please understand you will still be asked to pay for full visit.
We require patients to pay in full for the services rendered. However, we would be glad to file your insurance claims and refund any amount that is covered by your insurance. Please bring your insurance card and we will verify your insurance benefits. We recommend verifying your insurance benefits with your insurance company prior to receiving treatment. If you are under 25 years old, and under your parent’s plan, the plan holder’s information, such as name, DOB, address, phone number will be asked. If your spouse is the plan holder, the person’s DOB will be asked. If you are using Veteran’s program, your social security number will be asked.
Patients who will be treated with the NAET® protocol will be asked to read the Instructions for NAET® patients, and to sign and date this agreement before beginning treatment.
You may be asked to avoid ingesting or touching certain foods/drinks or substance for 25 hours after the treatment. Please be careful during the clearance period.
We accept cash, checks, Mastercard®, Visa® and Discover® cards, and Health Savings Accounts.
